Through innovative solutions like AI/ML and data analytics, we aim to enhance government processes and outcomes.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst to support our Modern Claims Processing (MCP) program for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). The Senior Data Analyst for the MCP is responsible for applying advanced data analysis techniques, including quantitative analysis, predictive analytics, and machine learning, to support technical program management within the Federal sector. Responsibilities include managing database technologies, ensuring accurate data integration with VA systems, overseeing data reporting processes, and collaborating with software development teams to maintain efficient database functionality. Work with EHR systems and ensure proper handling of sensitive healthcare data while following software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices.Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in statistics, data analytics, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in technical program management, with a proven track record of leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering complex technical and financial reports within the Federal sector.
• 15+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, predictive analytics, and machine learning, with a focus on improving decision-making processes.
• Strong understanding of the VBA disability compensation claims process, specifically related to the digitization and use of DBQs.
• Experience reconciling VA clinical data, including the use of ontologies, taxonomies, and clinical data exchange formats like FHIR, Blue Button, and CCDA.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions in a large-scale, federal environment.Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in working with healthcare data standards and tools used in the analysis of federal healthcare data.
  • Familiarity with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) data and healthcare data management, especially in relation to benefits processing.Why SteerBridge?
