Job Description:
We are seeking a temporary Help Desk Technician to offer technical
support and assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and
software, both over the phone and in person. Additionally, the help
desk technician will respond to customer inquiries to provide
technical assistance.
Responsibilities:
Install monitors, docking stations, laptops, and printers as
directed by service request tickets, ensuring accurate asset
tracking.
Assist in relocating desktop equipment within the office for all
staff members.
Perform necessary software upgrades.
Address incoming customer requests in person with a friendly and
professional demeanor.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products,
including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook online, Word, and Excel.
Efficiently set up conference rooms for staff meetings.
Provide training to staff on both current and newly deployed
hardware and software.
Assist with technology shipment receivables.
Maintain system documentation and keep technical knowledge
updated.
Exhibit strong skills in provisioning both Windows-based (Win 10
and 11) laptops and MacBooks.
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) installation and
troubleshooting
Skills:
Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of
conveying technical information effectively to a wide range of
end-users.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a highly
developed attention to detail.
Interpersonal skills complemented by excellent written and oral
communication, enabling effective collaboration.
Aptitude for learning new technology and systems rapidly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with keen attention to detail
in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated commitment and capability to provide outstanding
customer service.
Solid understanding of basic client connectivity, including
ethernet, desktop, and phone installations.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions,
occasionally in urgent situations.
Experience working with smart devices such as tablets (iOS,
Android).
Experience working in Active Directory Computer Management and User
password resets.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
Experienced with troubleshooting network drops in user
cubicles.
